Exposition “hors les murs” – January 26- March 2
BORDALO II or BORDALO “Segundo” is a key artist of international Street Art. With the Mathgoth Gallery, he will invest in the 13th arrondissement of Paris a gross and atypical space of 700 m². He will present thirty sculptures of animals threatened with extinction, made from plastic waste, symbolizing the disastrous consequences of globalization.
Chinese New Year celebrations – Feb 5
Are you up for new beginnings this year, or are you ready to move on from something you’ve overcome? 2018 was the Year of the Dog, which was a buckle-down, nose-to-the-grindstone period. This year, the year of the Earth Pig is here to bring abundance, enjoyment and lightness!
Black History Month Special Event – February 7
See the film “Speak up,” on February 7 in honor of Black History Month. Frenchlation offers you to see French films with English subtitles! On this special night, you will be able to watch the film and then take part in a conversation with the film crew! Here is a brief synopsis of the film – Women of African descent converse about what it means to be a woman today and belong to the Afro community. By sharing their experiences and aspirations for the future, they speak up and take control again of their own representation.

Swan Lake by the Paris Opera – February 16 – March 19
One of Tchaikovsky’s most famous ballets, Swan Lake – the tale of a princess turned into a swan by an evil curse – is as beloved for its exquisite music as for the beauty of the dancing. Created in 1984 for the Paris Opera Ballet, the famed choreographer Rudolf Nureyev’s version gives the ballet a psychological interpretation and adds depth to the performance.
International Salon of Agriculture – February 23 – March 3
The Parc des Expositions in Paris welcomes the International Agricultural Show for the 50th year in a row. As well as presenting livestock, it is a showcase for terroir products and regional and international gastronomy as it brings together 1000 exhibitors from different countries. Also, a great place to discover jobs associated with farming and agriculture, and to meet a wide range of people in the industry.
